Her path began in conventional medicine as a respiratory therapist, where she learned firsthand the importance of compassion, presence and the powerful connection between mind and body. Her academic foundation in science, pre-medical studies and psychology continues to shape her depth of insight she brings to her work.
For more than 25 years, Joyce has owned and led a mindfulness-based counseling practice dedicated to helping people through life’s challenges with grace, ease and resilience. She integrates mindfulness-based therapy, brain spotting, cognitive behavioral, positive psychology, depth psychology, energy healing, and more. She has led seminars and taught a variety of groups.
She is known for her warmth, intuitive presence, and her ability to create a safe nurturing space where clients feel deeply seen and supported. Her approach is both practical and heart-centered, offering tools that not only address current challenges but also foster long-term growth, balance, and inner strength.
